From my standpoint, the association executives that I talk with think this technology is indeed invisible but not in an ubiquitous way, in a "I don't use it or see the need for it" sort of way. I spend a great deal of time still making the introductions. Now I don't mind doing that...we always have something to learn but for the assc. exec there still seems to be a long road ahead.
